Welcome to the Nations Ohio State Championship
Over 500 teams will play in the 2012 State Tournament. It's important that you read thru the information on this page, follow these directions and then relay any pertinent information on to your players and their parents.
2012 State Tournament Dates
AGES 8U, 9U, 10U, 12U, 13U AND 14U (54/80 Select and 60/90 Select/Elite) - JUNE 14-17TH
Columbus (Berliner Park) and Grove City (Windsor/Fryer Parks)
AGES 11U and 16U - JUNE 14-17TH
Bowling Green (Carter Park and Surrounding fields)
AGES: 14U PREMIER/OPEN

15U, 17U AND 18U - JUNE 21-24TH
Akron /Canton ( Host Sites are Thurman Munson Stadium,Akron University, and Kent State University as well surrounding college and high school facilities)
OHIO TEAMS MUST FULFILL OUR STATE REQUIREMENTS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE
14u Premier/Open, 15u, 16u, 17u and 18u are Exempt from these requirements

| If you do not have Nations team insurance, your team insurance certificate and an additional insured certificate naming Nations Baseball Tournament Assn., must be uploaded to the Nations national web site under your team admin section. Your team insurance must also include secondary medical coverage |
Teams must have met our eligibility requirements:
a. Play in a Nations Ohio Sanctioned League & Play in One Nations Ohio sanctioned tournament. The state tournament can not be used for the tournament requirement.
b. Play in Two Nations Ohio sanctioned tournaments.

PROCESS FOR ENTERING THE STATE TOURNAMENT
Step #1 (Are you a Nations sanctioned team)
Register your team with Nations Baseball either by going to www.nations-baseball.com and registering your team online, by going thru your Nations Area Director or via your Nations sanctioned league. If you are registered through one of our Ohio Sanctioned Leagues for the 2012 season, please skip to Step 2.
Step #2 (Mandatory Pre-Registration)

Once you have pre-registered, your information and qualification requirements (including your classification) will be verified at the state office before your team will officially be placed in the tournament at www.nations-baseball.com
Step #3 (Official entry and Payment)
Once you have been officially placed in the tournament, you will receive an email from Nations Baseball notifying you of this. After receipt of this notification, log into the Nations website at www.nations-baseball.com using your user ID and password. Go to your Team Admin page and click on the Tournament button. Click on the PAY NOW link for the Ohio State Championship and follow those instructions on the payment screen. (A processing fee will be charged)
NOTE
Directions & Maps, Schedules and Tournament Results will all be posted on the Ohio State Website website under the State Championships link for your viewing anytime before, during or after the tournament. Scroll to the Ohio State Championship link and select your age division to see all this information on your computer or smart phone. Game results will be posted within one hour of the completion of the game.
Important!
To help us with communication on important tournament news, changes and game results for your team, have all your parents go to www.nations-baseball.com and click on the Tournament Search link at the top of the screen to locate the Ohio State Championship on the Nations website. Click on the Add Text button next to the age division of your team and sign up for text messaging for this tournament. Families that sign up for text messaging will receive scores of all games played by the team they designate, as well as, any tournament updates, such as delays for rain, tournament re-scheduling, etc. This will enable us to get information to specific teams quickly in an effort to help make your tournament experience as enjoyable and informative as possible.
